Verifresh’s gum care kit combines the company’s patented gum massager and all-natural gum care gel that includes key natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal ingredients to help maintain healthy gums. According to the company, it is the first oral care instrument designed specifically to massage the gum surface. The product replaces the finger as the instrument of choice to massage gums and apply gum gels.
 
According to company founder Jonathan Weisberg, the gum gel includes several active ingredients: coQ10 (found to be deficient in individuals with gum disease), tea tree leaf oil, propolis, xylitol and aloe.
 
The gum massager is a patented design that massages the gums safely and gently.  Most gum massagers available on the market are actually interdental rubber tips that are meant to clean the interdental spaces, not for massage of the gingival surface. 
 
The other advantage of this gum massager is that it is designed specifically to apply specialty gum care gels, holding the gel in its concave cup-shaped head and allowing efficient application to the gum surface.  Up until now, gum gels have been applied primarily by the finger.
